Ingredients
-
1 Spicekick® Chili seasoning packet
-
2 cups Corn Chex cereal (choose all gluten-free Chex cereal (7 cups total) for a gluten-free recipe)
-
2 cups Rice Chex cereal
-
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
-
1 cup pecans or pistachios
-
1 cup cashews
-
1 cup bite-size pretzels
-
1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular bagel chips broken into smaller pieces (omit for gluten-free recipe)
-
6 tablespoons butter (OR 3 tablespoons butter and 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil for a lighter option)
-
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Mix Chex cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips in a large bowl. Set aside.
Melt butter in microwave-safe bowl for about 60 seconds. (If using butter and olive oil, add olive oil after butter melts, about 30 seconds in microwave.)
Add Spicekick® Chili seasoning packet, Worcestershire sauce and melted butter mixture to the large bowl of cereal mix, stirring until the mixture is evenly coated.
Spread the coated cereal mix onto a large sheet pan and bake 1 hour, tossing the mixture lightly every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Let the mixture cool for 15 minutes before enjoying.
