Ingredients
-
1 teaspoon cooking oil
-
1/2 pound lean ground beef
-
1/4 cup water
-
1/2 packet Spicekick® Taco seasoning
-
1 (12-16-ounce) container queso (we like Tia Maria brand)
-
Canned diced tomatoes, drained (optional)
-
1/2 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, cubed or sliced (optional)
Directions
Heat the oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add the beef and brown for 5 minutes, breaking up the crumbles with a flat-edged wooden spoon.
Reduce heat to low and add Spicekick Taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water, simmering for a couple minutes.
Turn off the heat and stir in the queso to melt it.
Stir in canned diced tomatoes and cream cheese (optional).
Transfer queso to a slow cooker and hold on warm.
