We've got a gameday recipe that will make your appetizer spread all the more delicious! These jalapeno poppers use Spicekick Chili seasoning mix along with cream cheese, cheddar and chives for an incredibly balanced bite your guests will love. Even better, cleanup is a breeze since these roasted jalapeno poppers are made on a sheet pan.
Ingredients
-
12 medium or 6 large jalapenos, cut in half lengthwise
-
1 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
-
8 oz cream cheese (1 block), softened on counter for 30 minutes
-
3 tablespoons Spicekick Chili Seasoning
-
Optional: 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions or chives
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F convection. Line a large sheet pan with a nonstick baking mat or parchment paper.
Using a spoon, scrape out the seeds and membrane from the jalapenos.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cheeses and Spicekick seasoning. Optional: Stir in 2 tablespoons of the green onions or chives.
Place a heaping tablespoon of the cheese filling into the jalapenos, pressing into the corners, too.
Bake until sizzling around the edges, about 15-20 minutes.
